Introducing: MetaGaia, the Living Solar System.
This article expands on the ideas presented in an earlier article that you should read first, entitled: The Heart of the Solar System, which describes how planet Earth is the heart chakra or “heart planet” of the living solar system, functioning as the heart, lungs and digestive system of this cosmic-scale, photosynthetic organism. If you’re wondering how the illustration above looks like an organism, just know that life takes radically different forms at different scales. As above, so below, but in a different fashion. It’s complementary.
The traditional view of Gaia theory, that planet Earth is a living organism, is not entirely convincing because it is incomplete. The model doesn’t include all the necessary components. Clearly a living Earth requires both the Sun and the Moon. (Perhaps the other planets are also involved. It is the complex interaction between these multiple cosmic bodies that seems to be important.) Without the Sun and the Moon there is no circulation of the Earth’s 3-phase hydrosphere (the hydrologic cycle) equivalent to the circulatory system in animals. Without the Sun and Moon there is no photosynthesis driving the growth of plants (fractal extensions of the hydrologic cycle) on the surface of Earth, which makes possible the growth of animals. (Remember that planet Earth has a predominantly plant-based biosphere.) The living Earth is not so much a stand-alone organism as it is an organ system in the body of the living solar system.
A Scientific System of Chakras.
The heart is not ordinarily considered an endocrine organ, but the endocrine system depends on the circulatory system to distribute the hormone messengers that allow for the holistic coordination of the endocrine organs and the body as a whole. The endocrine system and the circulatory system are all part of a single system known as the endocrine-circulatory system. The heart is the center of this system, and the blood which flows through this system is incredibly polarized into arterial and venous blood (left & right sides of the heart), and the lungs and digestive system (above & below the diaphragm) are equally polarized in function.
In this article I want to focus more attention on the crown chakra and the other chakras besides the heart chakra. In this scientific system of chakras, the crown chakra is ruled by the Sun, and sympathetically manifests an organ system in the body reflecting the nature and characteristics of the Sun. The Sun is the central governing body of the solar system, in the same way our brain is the central governing organ of our human bodies.
The Sun is spinning; it rotates faster at its equator than at its poles. Relative to a background of the stars, the Sun’s rotational period is approximately 25.6 days at the equator and 33.5 days at the poles. Viewed from Earth as it orbits the Sun, the apparent rotational period of the Sun at its equator is about 28 days. Viewed from a vantage point above its north pole, the Sun rotates counterclockwise around its axis of spin. The Sun has two hemispheres separated by its equatorial plane, just like the brain has two hemispheres separated by the longitudinal fissure.
The Sun’s magnetosphere (called the heliosphere) is equivalent to our pituitary gland, which has been called the “conductor of the endocrine orchestra.” The pituitary regulates and communicates with other endocrine organs by releasing hormone messengers into the blood. It is in constant communication and feedback with the other endocrine organs (which also release hormone messengers into the blood) in the same way the Heliosphere (the Sun’s magnetosphere) is in constant communication and feedback with all the other planets and their magnetospheres.
Solar and Planetary magnetospheres are shaped like a torus, not a sphere. Circular lines of force extend from one pole to the other, and link the entire solar system together in a dense and complex network of electro-magnetic lines of force. I refer to any looping line of force that passes through the center of two magnetospheres as a Ring of Awareness. The combination of all these interlocking magnetospheres in the solar system is a structure I refer to as the Magneto-Form, equivalent to the endocrine-circulatory system of the solar system.
Assuming the crown chakra is ruled by the Sun, and the heart chakra is ruled by the Earth, then the inner planets would coincide with chakras located between the head and the heart, and the outer planets would coincide with chakras located in the lower torso. In this scientific system of chakras, the throat chakra is ruled by planet Mercury, which has an intrinsic magnetosphere and corresponds to the thyroid. Winged Mercury is a Roman God of communication, and makes sense associated with the thyroid, which overlays the trachea and voice box, the organ of communication.
Both Venus and Mars are lacking “intrinsic” magnetospheres, but this can be explained through the concept of cosmic recapitulation. It has been hypothesized that both of these planets at one time did have intrinsic magnetospheres early in their evolutionary development. This would make sense in terms of their endocrine correspondences. Venus corresponds to the thymus, which is most active early in life. By the early teens, the thymus begins to atrophy. Mars corresponds to the spleen, which is also important in early development, but can ordinarily be removed without jeopardizing the life of the body.
Kepler’s 3rd law states that a planet’s year or orbital period (squared) is proportional to its average distance from the Sun (cubed). All planets orbiting the same Sun are rhythmically enmeshed together and hologramically interrelated. Planets don’t exist independent of the solar system they are a part of, in the same way that endocrine organs don’t exist independent of the body they are a part of.
Each planet is a hologramic center of monadic space-time, and can be placed at the center of its own Calendar-Clock to measure planet-specific biorhythms. There is no such thing as generic space-time. Each planet generates a unique (monadic) space-time based on the qualities of the central planet, including it’s rate of spin relative to the Sun (day), it’s orbital period and orbital tilt relative to the invariable plane (year), whether it has one or more “moons” (month), etc. These planet-specific biorhythms resonantly effect the complementary expression of the corresponding endocrine organ in the body, producing hormones as biorhythms, part of the system-wide endocrine feedback system.
The Navel Chakra or Solar Plexus.
Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, with a diameter of 85,750 miles. It is one of the gaseous giants, with 314 times the mass of Earth, but a density of only 1.34 (Earth’s density is 5.5). It has a very rapid rotational period (night and day) of about two Earth hours, with pronounced flattening of the poles due to centrifugal force. Jupiter’s orbital period (year) is almost 12 Earth years. Its axial tilt is only 3º, but it’s magnetosphere (which is 4000 times stronger than Earth’s) is tilted 11º, so there is still a significant seasonal effect. The 15 or more satellites circling giant Jupiter form a mini-solar system, the Sun’s solar binary partner.
The navel chakra is ruled by Jupiter, and corresponds to the “solar plexus” or adrenal medulla, which is made out of nervous tissue much like the brain. The solar plexus is not mentioned in most anatomy books, but a plexus in general refers to a complex arrangement of nerves, much like those making up the interior (medulla) of the adrenal gland. The adrenal medulla produces hormones, but its nerve fibers also link it directly to the sympathetic nervous system.
Jupiter’s magnetosphere is huge and powerful, second only to the Sun’s heliosphere. If Jupiter was a bit more massive, it would collapse in on itself and form a Sun. This hints at the role of Jupiter as the solar plexus. It is almost a mini-solar system within the Solar System. Jupiter’s extensive satellite system corresponds to the adrenal cortex or outer layer. Note that Jupiter’s satellite system can be divided into three distinct groups. 1) Seven inner satellites orbit in a prograde fashion, in the equatorial plane. 2) A middle group of satellites orbit in a prograde fashion but with a high inclination. And, 3) Four satellites in the outer group orbit in a retrograde fashion, and also have a high inclination.
In a complementary fashion, the adrenal cortex produces three sets of hormones, in three different shells of the cortex. Aldosterone maintains blood volume and pressure. Cortisol controls fat, protein, carbohydrate and mineral utilization. Gonadocorticoids influence sperm production and the distribution of body hair and menstruation. Each hormone has a unique signature frequency that corresponds to the resonant frequency of the various satellite-indicators in orbit around the dial of Jupiter’s Calendar-Clock.
Saturn corresponds to the kidneys. It has an intrinsic magnetosphere almost as strong as the Earth’s. Saturn is named after the Roman God of Agriculture, which is made possible by an extensive system of irrigation with water, like the tubules making up the kidney. To fully understand the correspondences between Saturn and the kidneys, you have to consider Saturn’s layered structure, and the internal dynamics that occur there, including the “raining out” of helium.
The Manifestation of Gender.
According to the Sufis, the solar system is a great man and man is a small solar system. But where does that leave woman? Where does gender (and sex) come from? Perhaps the solar system is hermaphroditic, containing both male and female at different times.
The last three planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are associated with the urogenital system. Each of these planets has an intrinsic magnetosphere. Uranus and Pluto are both tilted almost onto their sides, and at various times in their orbital period, the axis of their magnetospheres are basically lined up perpendicular, pointed directly at the Sun. This is in contrast to all the other planets, where the planetary axis is basically parallel to the solar axis. Both Uranus and Neptune have their magnetic fields offset from the spinning axis by a significant angle (50º and 58º). This makes for strange and complex interactions with the solar wind.
Plasma flowing from the Sun gets deflected by the planet’s magnetosphere into a circulation flowing within the magnetosphere. When the north end of the magnetosphere is pointed at the Sun, the electric current of plasma from the Sun is moving in opposition to the current passing through the planet. When the planet’s south end is pointed at the Sun, the current of plasma from the Sun moves “in step” with the current passing through the planet. Over the course of the planet’s orbital period, the morphology of the planet’s magnetosphere changes dramatically depending on whether the north end or the south end of the axis is facing the Sun’s magnetosphere. In one case, the result is a convex shape, like a phallus. In the other case, the result is a concave shape, like a vase.
Neptune’s satellite Triton (which is about the same size as Pluto) orbits in a retrograde direction. Pluto’s orbit is highly eccentric, and its orbital plane is inclined 17º to the plane of the ecliptic. Pluto’s satellite Charon is about half its size. Neptune and Pluto are locked in a 3:2 resonant orbit; Neptune completes 3 orbits in the time it takes Pluto to orbit twice. These unusual features of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are difficult to explain in the context of a nebular hypothesis, which proposes that the solar system gradually condensed out of a spiraling cloud of dust which accumulated into planetoids, which then became proto-planets which became planets.
But if the solar system is a living being, then like all living organisms, it evolves by natural selection, random mutation (collision?) and Lamarckism, where it gradually learns and adapts. Perhaps the solar system’s evolution is based on feedback awareness involving all of the plant and animal evolution that is taking place on planet Earth.
Magnetospheres are dense with morphogenetic (form-generating) information. The combined magnetospheres of the Sun and all the planets (the magneto-form) contributes to the shape and organization of our animal bodies. It seems likely that if we lived in a solar system with a different organization of planets, we would have correspondingly different bodies. (If you want to find out even more about how the planetary chakras may be having an impact on our human bodies, check out this series of 4 videos on the subject of Scientific Astrology.)
